Understanding Arbuscular Mycorrhizal Colonization in Walnut Plantations: The Contribution of Cover Crops and Soil Microbial Communities

چکیده
Soil microorganisms play a central role in biological soil functioning. One of the beneficial microbiota that has symbiotic association with most plants is arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF). Nevertheless, little known about impact cover crops—widely used conservation agriculture or organic farming—on native fungi. This study was conducted Southern France, 20-year-old walnut orchards, where faba bean (Vicia Roth) intercropped. To find whether AM fungal community associated trees influenced by crops and microbial communities, analyses physicochemical microbiological indicators were carried out roots samples collected from four modalities (walnut conventional farming without crops, crops). Our results showed presence mainly abundance activities plots. In contrast, stimulated colonization plots, reaching 35% 54% for arbuscule intensity, respectively. ergosterol mineral nitrogen contents correlated colonization, while only acid phosphatase activity positively The use great played enhancement trees’ colonization. Identification functional traits sensitive to required inform decisions specific agricultural practices.

Colonization patterns of soil microbial communities in the Atacama Desert
BACKGROUND The Atacama Desert is one of the driest deserts in the world and its soil, with extremely low moisture, organic carbon content, and oxidizing conditions, is considered to be at the dry limit for life. RESULTS Analyses of high throughput DNA sequence data revealed that bacterial communities from six geographic locations in the hyper-arid core and along a North-South moisture gradien...
متن کاملMitigation of chilling and freezing stresses through colonization with arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi in spring barley
Cold stress is an important limiting factor for cereal production. Barley is a host species for arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) with a high genetic diversity in response to cold stress. In order to explore the mechanisms for the ameliorative effect of AMF under cold stress, an experiment was undertaken using completely randomized block design with three factors including temperature treatme...

(The effect of different soil properties on arbuscular mycorrhizal colonization of peanuts, sorghum and maize). Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) are important for plant growth since they increase mineral influx. However, symbiosis efficiency is affected by many environmental factors. This study evaluated the effects of different treatments (+/phosphorus; +/liming; +/organic matter; field, san...
متن کاملThe mycorrhizal soil infectivity and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungal spore communities in soils of different aged fallows in Senegal
This work was carried out to determine the influence of the duration of fallow and of physico-chemical components of soils on the distribution of endomycorrhizal fungal spores and the mycorrhizal soil infectivity. The mycorrhization of indigenous plants from the fallows was examined and it was concluded that, except for Cassia obtusifolia, fungal colonization was poorly developed. No correlatio...

agricultural sustainability is closely related with the efficient use of natural resources, which are primarily transformed by the action of microorganisms. soil microorganisms are usually used as early indicators of soil quality since they rapidly respond to changes in soil management. a field experiment was carried out aiming to evaluate the effect of siratro (macroptylium atropurpureum), bah...
